Warranty Coverage – Applies to Original JW Metal Cabinets Customers.

JW Metal Products warrants to the original purchaser that its cabinetry and related products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for the applicable warranty period described below.

This warranty applies to products purchased directly from JW Metal Products or through an authorized JW Metal Products dealer.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

The warranty period begins on the date the product is shipped from JW Metal Products.

Residential Applications

Limited 10-Year Cabinet Body Warranty

JW Metal Products warrants cabinet bodies for ten (10) years from the date of shipment.

Limited 5-Year Cabinet Exterior Warranty

JW Metal Products warrants cabinet doors, drawer fronts, finished exterior panels, and other exterior cabinet components for five (5) years from the date of shipment.

Limited 2-Year Hardware Warranty

JW Metal Products warrants drawer slides and hinges for two (2) years from the date of shipment.

Commercial, Multi-Family, Hospitality & Institutional Applications

Limited 5-Year Cabinet Warranty

JW Metal Products warrants cabinet bodies, doors, drawer fronts, finished exterior panels, and other cabinet components against defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of shipment.

Limited 2-Year Hardware Warranty

JW Metal Products warrants drawer slides and hinges for two (2) years from the date of shipment.

Commercial, multi-family, hospitality and institutional applications include, but are not limited to, restaurants, hotels, resorts, apartment and condominium common areas, clubhouses, offices, schools, universities, healthcare facilities, municipal buildings, fire stations, police stations, government facilities, and similar non-single-family residential installations.

Warranty Remedy

If a covered defect occurs during the applicable warranty period, JW Metal Products will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective component.

JW Metal Products will determine whether a replacement component will be provided for field installation or whether the affected product or component must be returned to JW Metal Products for evaluation or repair.

Repair or replacement of the defective component is the sole and exclusive remedy provided under this warranty.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by JW Metal Products, this warranty does not cover costs associated with:

• Removal of cabinetry or components
• Installation or reinstallation
• Field Labor
• Contractor or service technician charges
• Access to the product
• Demolition or reconstruction
• Modification of surrounding construction
• Freight, expedited freight, or transportation
• Loss of use
• Lost revenue or business interruption
• Incidental or consequential damages

Replacement parts may vary slightly in appearance from the original product due to changes in materials, manufacturing processes, finishes, suppliers, product design, or normal aging of the existing product.

If an original component is no longer manufactured or has become obsolete, JW Metal Products may provide a replacement component of similar functionality and value.

Finish and Appearance

Stainless steel and powder-coated surfaces may experience normal changes in appearance during use and exposure to environmental conditions.

Scratches, scuffs, dents, fingerprints, staining, surface oxidation, discoloration, fading, weathering, and other cosmetic changes resulting from normal use or environmental exposure are not considered defects in materials or workmanship unless determined by JW Metal Products to have resulted from a manufacturing defect.

Color, texture, gloss, grain, and appearance may vary between samples, production runs, replacement components, and previously installed products.

Exact color or finish matching of replacement parts to existing or aged products cannot be guaranteed.

Exclusions From Warranty

This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or failure resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear
• Improper installation or mounting
• Improper storage
• Improper handling or uncrating
• Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidental damage
• Product modification or alteration
• Field cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, or other modifications
• Installation contrary to JW Metal Products instructions
• Improper or inadequate structural support
• Overloading
• Impact damage
• Exposure to corrosive chemicals or incompatible cleaning products
• Exposure to chlorine, chlorides, salts, fertilizers, pool chemicals, acids, or other corrosive substances
• Failure to properly clean or maintain the product
• Standing water or prolonged exposure to moisture caused by installation conditions
• Damage caused by appliances, grills, burners, heating devices, plumbing fixtures, or other equipment
• Excessive heat or failure to provide required clearances
• Fire, flood, storm, lightning, natural disaster, or other events beyond the control of JW Metal Products
• Damage occurring during transportation or shipment
• Installation or use inconsistent with the product's intended application

Surface corrosion or discoloration caused by environmental exposure, contamination, improper maintenance, or incompatible chemicals is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Shipping Damage

Shipping damage is not covered under this product warranty.

Customers must inspect shipments in accordance with the receiving instructions provided by JW Metal Products and document any visible or concealed freight damage as required.

Failure to properly inspect, document, or report freight damage may affect the ability to pursue a freight claim.

Change Orders and Field Modifications

Customers are responsible for verifying dimensions, layouts, specifications, appliance requirements, and other project information prior to approving an order for production.

Changes requested after customer approval may result in additional design, material, fabrication, shipping, and other charges.

JW Metal Products is not responsible for field conditions, dimensions, appliance specifications, utility locations, structural conditions, or other information not accurately communicated to JW Metal Products prior to production.

Field modifications performed by others are not warranted by JW Metal Products. However, a field modification will not automatically void the warranty on unrelated portions of the product unless the modification caused or contributed to the claimed failure.

Warranty Claims

Warranty claims must be submitted to JW Metal Products and include sufficient information to evaluate the claimed defect. Claims should include:

• Original purchaser name
• Order or sales order number, if available
• Description of the issue
• Photographs showing the affected product and condition
• Installation location
• Any additional information reasonably requested by JW Metal Products

JW Metal Products reserves the right to inspect the product or request additional photographs, documentation, or information before approving a warranty claim.

No repair, replacement, field work, or other expenses may be undertaken on behalf of JW Metal Products without prior written authorization.

Limitation

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties to the extent permitted by applicable law.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JW METAL PRODUCTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH REMOVING OR REINSTALLING PRODUCTS.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations may not apply.

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and the purchaser may have additional rights that vary by state.
