At JW Metal Cabinets, we are committed to ensuring that your metal products are delivered safely and efficiently.
Lead Times and Expedited Shipping
Most stock and cut-to-size orders ship within 1-2 business days. Fabricated and laser-cut items take longer. If expedited shipping is selected (additional fees apply), stock and cut-to-size orders will ship the next business day. Fabricated and laser-cut items should also ship the next business day if expedited shipping is selected.

Freight Line Shipping
Orders too large for UPS or FedEx will be shipped on a pallet via freight. Freight rates vary by state, with a minimum rate applying until the order reaches 400 pounds. After that, shipping rates are adjusted based on actual freight costs.
Parcel Shipments
We ship small orders via UPS or FedEx Ground, while larger items ship via freight. The shipping method is determined by weight, package size, and the number of packages.
If the size exceeds UPS or FedEx limits, the order will ship via freight line (tractor trailer).
Inspect Your Delivery!
Upon delivery, it is essential that you inspect your shipment for damage. If your UPS or FedEx Ground delivery is damaged, refuse the package. If it is left without a signature, contact JW Metal Cabinets for assistance. For freight deliveries, if there is damage, note it on the delivery ticket or refuse the delivery. Once the freight bill is signed as received in good condition, we cannot assist with freight claims, as the freight company will not honor claims after the fact.
For residential freight deliveries, please note that the driver will bring the pallet to the back of the truck. You are responsible for removing the product from the truck unless you selected lift-gate service. Often, the pallet and crate may weigh more than the product itself. You may be able to unscrew the top or side of the crate and remove the product from the crate while it is still on the truck.
Shipping for Cabinetry
Before your order ships, you will receive a pre-shipment email containing photos of your product. You must read and acknowledge this email before your order is released. Failure to follow the provided instructions could result in an inability to file a freight claim in case of damage.
Final payment is due before shipment. If payment is not made according to the agreed terms, your order may be canceled at the discretion of JW Metal Cabinets, and any deposit will be forfeited.
Storage
JW Metal Cabinets does not hold orders after production. You will have 5 days after receiving the shipment notification to acknowledge and release the order. After 5 days, storage fees of $25 per day per piece will apply until the shipment leaves our facility. These fees must be paid before the order is released.
Change Orders After Signoff
Please ensure all original measurements, layouts, and designs are correct before signing off on production. If changes are required after production signoff, the customer will be responsible for design fees, shipping costs, and any additional part expenses. If JW Metal Cabinets made an error, we will cover the cost of the correction.
All Sales are Final
JW Metal Cabinets will not provide refunds for unforeseen circumstances, changes of heart, or a lack of due diligence before purchase. All sales are final. If a job is canceled after a deposit is made, the deposit will be forfeited.
